Rainbow wedding anniversary

Three years ago today we were married. We had already been together by then for 35 years. It was a wondrous occasion. After waiting for so many years for same sex marriage to become legal in Australia, and a slight hiccup with emergency back surgery, we gathered 70 friends and family together and we CELEBRATED. Our theme, of course, had to be rainbow - rainbow lectern, rainbow flowers, rainbow wedding cake and many of our friends wore rainbow bow ties, ties and socks. It was such a happy day.

There's a chilled bottle of champagne in the fridge which we are about to open. I would like at least another 38 years with the love of my life.
