Don’t forget Yorkshire Day.

Tomorrow we will be celebrating Yorkshire Day.
However as the Yorkshire Post isn’t published tomorrow they had a special supplement today. A celebration of famous faces from across the region - both past and present - from the world of arts, culture, and entertainment.

More gold medals for Team GB.
Delighted that Jonny Brownlee has at last got a gold medal in his last Olympics.
With thanks to his teammates who together won the Mixed Triathlon Relay.
Also a great win and new world record for the mixed relay swimmers.

After lunch we picked the last of our bags of potatoes. ( see extra) Very pleased with 6lbs from just 3 potatoes. Some eaten for tea along with more runner beans.

This afternoon Mr C has been watching the cricket. The Hundred Women 2021.
Now watching the men. Must say he has enjoyed watching this tournament on TV. especially the women’s teams!
I have been in the kitchen cooking and baking for tomorrow ‘s Walking Club BBQ/Garden Party.
It will be lovely to see many of our friends. Some we haven’t seen since January 2020.
Fingers crossed for the weather.
If it is dry we will be outside in Chris’s garden. Must get well wrapped up!
