The Weir Garden

Today we headed out of Hereford, following the River Wye, to the National Trust Weir Garden.  The weather was not good and we started off our walk around them holding on fast to our umbrellas as the rain poured down!

However, they are quite stunning and were well worth the damp, with glorious views looking down onto the river, and terraces working their way down to the river bank

The other magical aspect is the Walled Garden, which only has walls on three sides so you can see across the fields.  We caught it at its best as the flowers had just come alive after the rain.

If you are around there, don't miss it
