Gimme a Break

You can't really tell, but the cat is sound asleep on my arm, making it nearly impossible for me to do anything. I'm holding my phone in my non-dominant hand, trying to focus and then figure out how to push the button without jiggling the camera. Modern problems!  Before I was set upon by the animal I did a load of laundry, put up some marinated cucumbers, roasted a batch of granola, and made a pot of curried zucchini soup. The soup is a good way to use some of our garden bounty, and the cat is a good excuse to sit still for a minute.
