Orange Trumpet

A very vigorous climber, ideal for covering a fence or wall. Or, if left to its own devices, a shed or a house. It has showy golden flowers in winter and spring. Originating in sub-tropical Brazil and Argentina, it prefers warm climates. Its botanical name is Pyrostegia venusta. Common names are orange trumpet vine, flame vine and golden shower. This one is growing on a fence nearby.
