Harry

We were all up early, Harry was being picked up at 7.30am and the rest of us followed at 8.15am having to travel out to Lower Hutt where they were playing, kick off at 9am. Boy was it ever chilly, their pitch never got the sun, (what sun!!).
Any rate, they had a good win 7 - 3…. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing him play, his position centre back. I’ve taken so many photos of Harry, in the end I asked him to pick four. Harry has the blue boots.
Just a bit about Harry, at the end of last year he was offered (and accepted) a contract into the Phoenix Youth Academy.  The Phoenix is New Zealand’s professional football team that plays in the Australian football league.  We are extremely proud of his achievements.  I’ve popped a photo of him in his jacket in extra, we called into a local cafe for a warming coffee where I took his photo. Harry is thirteen and year nine at Wellington Collage.
The rest of the day has been at home…no Pictionary today.
A gold for our women’s Sevens last night, and a bronze today to Dame Valarie Adams in the shot put. Valarie is 37, and has  earned four medals in five Olympic Games. Two golds 2012 and 2008, then won the silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and has since had two children. We love her.
We ended another fab day having a lengthy FaceTime with Townsville. Lexi was over the moon to see us all at one time and at one place.
