Becoming

The lovely Balloon Flower (Platycodon grandiflorus) is coming into its own right now and I thought I would chart its transition.  Luckily, a bee decided to visit at the last moment to add a final touch.  It is one of the many Bell Flower varieties and is very easy to grow.  They are deer and drought resistant which is important around here.  Some rain coming this afternoon and evening so there is no drought problem right now.  July, which is usually one of the driest months, has been one of the wettest months in the last 100 years!
