Peeping Tom

Had Sunday Roast booked for 14:30. Wasn’t sure about parking, so we headed there well before and ‘wasted time’.

Walked down down to the beach, through Branksome Dene.  Not been down that way before. Passed the impressive Packe Family Mausoleum (“which is all that remains of a large estate which covered Branksome Park in the mid 19th Century”).  Further along glimpsed this grand house, between the pine trees.

Started to drizzle, so went back up to see if we could eat earlier. No problem. We had booked outside, plenty of parasols dotted around, so decided to risk it.

Quite cool for summer, perfect.
