Black Hood Drops

That is, rain drops on the hood of a black pickup truck on our street, on my late afternoon walk. The rain had stopped. 

At the Olympics this evening we watched track and field. Perhaps the most interesting was two heats of the 400 meter hurdles. The runners are jumping the hurdles mostly on curves--it must be incredibly demanding, and 400 meters do not make a short race.
