Out for lunch

Chris and I popped into town for a few supplies this morning, it was quiet. We met Julie at 12 noon to go for lunch down the canal. We headed for the tearoom but it was closed. It is part of the Black Horse pub so we sat in the pub garden. Had a lovely sourdough sausage sandwich. It was lovely and warm in the sunshine. Walked along the canal which was the busiest I have ever seen, a few boats travelling along having to keep out of each other's way. We walked up the wheat field back, it is still green in parts, there has been so much rain with dull days round here.
