Thanks for the peanut

Today was a bright sunny day. I was able to get out for a walk in the morning at it was the civic holiday today. I was out for about 2 hours. I came across this female cardinal that was looking for a peanut. Before I set the peanut out for the cardinals crack the shell it makes it easier for them to pick them up and get into them.
