A gardening day...

...I was watering the hanging baskets when Roy spotted this butterfly ( Painted Lady? ) just sunning itself on the blue door...
Lovely to see, as we haven't spotted many so far...

This morning a trip to the deli. This aft Roy has trimmed little bits off hedges and cut the Rambling Rector back a bit, while I've pegged washing out and got the grass cut front and back - it could be wet for the rest of the week...
