Butterflies

Today I had more luck finding butterflies.  It was a warm, sunny afternoon and the butterflies were 'flocking' to the buddleia bush up the road.  I was going to make a beautiful Peacock butterfly (see extra) my main blip but in the end I went with this Painted Lady.

As a result of my butterfly quest, I've had the theme tune in my head all afternoon of that wonderful sitcom from the late 1970s/early 1980s (written by Carla Lane) called "Butterflies" with Wendy Craig and Geoffrey Palmer!
