Life's a Beach ....

But maybe not the town beach at Berwick, where we went today. 

But why not?  It's not a great stretch of golden sand - but it is clean (if you don't mind a bit of seaweed), quiet even on a warm sunny day, and you can be sure of finding a parking space within 5 minutes of the dunes.  So we were happy to spend the afternoon here.

TM's birthday today. Three quarters of a century!! 

It began with an appointment for a blood test ..... which didn't happen, as he hadn't fasted for 12 hours.  I told him he should, but ...  So he has to go back on Friday. 

I cooked him a traditional Scottish breakfast, just to make sure they'd have plenty to go at.

Then off to the seaside with Ali, Nico and Mr Dimples. The RAF put on a great display for us, Eurofighters says TM .... again, what would I know.

Home for tea - fish and chips and bubbly.

Too much fun today, I hope we can cope with another warm, sunny day tomorrow.
