Mid Spring

I happened to notice on my calendar that tomorrow is the Vernal Equinox.

That's date that the subsolar point is directly on the equator, so the sun spends the same amount of time above the horizon as it does below.
To you & me that means that day and night are exactly the same length.

Put another way, it's only 3 months until mid-summer!
