Doctors for Social Responsibility

Back-blip.

According to Doctors for Social Responsibility, 558 people in Oregon died this year for lack of health care. Many of our doctors advocate single-payer health insurance, which would provide universal health care for all Americans, regardless of their ability to pay for it. No major political party is advocating this policy. "Obamacare" is a much smaller, less comprehensive policy that protects the insurance industry more than it protects individuals; nevertheless, "Obamacare" is far more comprehensive than any health policy the USA has ever had before.
