Brockhole

Another day where we fit in a lot!

We headed to Brockhole in the morning where we played in the lake a bit. Family Cyclops had their swimsuits on and CyclopsJnr and cyclops were actually swimming. Saw some tiny fish! Dried off then CyclopsJnr went on the adventure playground. Then lunch in the cafe and CyclopsJnr spent his own money on a bouncy ball.

Grandma headed home, and we went onwards.

We parked up at Threlkeld and biked along the old railway path to Keswick. It was a lovely ride with lots of bridges across the river, and tunnels. We had an ice cream and a play in the park at Keswick, then biked back to the car.

A quick stop off in Penrith to buy some delicious food (and car snacks) from a shop we like.

Home by 7pm, having enjoyed a couple more hours of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
