Road Trip

We decided on a coastal day heading west to Malaig. First stop was Arisaig which is popular with canoeists. Quite a lot of boats but quiet compared to some of the places we visited. Next stop was the silver sands of Morar. Parking was a challenge but we eventually found a spot in the small car park.

A really enjoyable walk along the silver sands. Not as many people considering the beautiful white sands and safe waters. Jet enjoyed his walk too (see extra). The main is taken on part of the beach. We then decided to call into Mallaig which Richard remembers visiting over 50 years ago. It was heaving with visitors so we watched the ferry arrive and then left.

Called in at Glenfinnan on the way back. Just managed to squeeze into the car park. The Harry Potter effect definitely draws in the crowds. Just missed a steam train but did get a photo of the viaduct.
