2411. Steak Pie!

My youngest and I tried out a new steak restaurant in town today and it’s run by a local butcher who bought over an old empty pub/hotel in the town. He’s opened a restaurant there and is planning to add a butcher counter to it as well. He was telling us that he has converted the upstairs to a five bedroom flat for him and and his family. The steak pie was the best I have ever tasted and my youngest had the macaroni cheese which was also really tasty.

A very busy day today which ended with a meeting of all of the residents where we live
with the factor responsible for organising repairs etc. within our complex. It was a very tricky meeting as despite there being quite a few essential maintenance jobs to be done, many people were moaning about the costs so it looks like even the essential jobs may not go ahead which is very frustrating for those that do want the buildings and grounds to be well maintained. Oh the joys of communal living!
