Nad the Highlight of the games!

It's the event you have all been waiting for ! The Nectaring Finals are finally here and our competitors were in great form today. Team Yellow jacket buzzed the other athletes a few times to try to rattle them into ending their runs early and were disqualified by the judges for harassment and behavior unbecoming an Olympic athlete.
Team Monarch consisted of one competitor, Mona Monarch ,who simply could not pull it together today.  Probably from the strain of competing as a  single in a very difficult event.
The top runs were made by Team Clearwing ( in extras) . The lift off achieved by their Team Captain was impressive but not enough to take the Gold from Team Skipper. They were superb , flitting all over the stadium and sipping nectar from flower after flower. In true AOG spirit they congratulated the other teams on their runs while waiting for the final  results. The crowd went wild when they were announced as the Gold medalists ! Congratulations to you and we hope to see you again in 4 years!
