Grey damsel and lockdown

The garden was full of damsels today so I had plenty to practice on and one (not this one) let me get up really close.

As I hoped for, we have gone into a short sharp lockdown for 7 days.  Hopefully that will do the trick and we won't have widespread cases like Sydney has and we can come out of it in a week (maybe two) unlike Sydney.   The supermarkets were raided again with panic buying today.   What is wrong with people.  I saw a post on facebook from our state parliament member repeating that Supermarkets were not going to close and for people to get a grip.

The only thing I rushed to do was get Hamish's medication.   The vets will still be open but it will be back to the routine where you can't go in and they meet you at the door.  It was just easier to sort it out this afternoon before lockdown.

Apparently the cases here were thought to have spread from a "beach party" last Friday night with idiots coming up from the Sydney area.   I hope they find them, fine them and then lock them up at home with a police guard for the next two weeks and not let them out.   Their thoughtless action has had rippling affects up here with us going into lockdown.  I think we might have to build a wall to keep the idiot Sydney-siders out.   Someone on the radio who has a shop in a local tourist village said some people from Sydney were up on the weekend, breaking their lockdown and going for a drive because they were bored.  Gee, stay away please.

Sorry for the rant and aside from that, not much to report.
