The Nyom Nyom

The Nyom Nyom (from Onomatopoeia: eating noise) is a multiple race event on the hogweed track and was first introduced in the 2012 Alternative Olympic Games.  It was given its name from the most brutal of the three events that make up the competition.

Historically, the Nyom Nyom has had a variety of formats - generally though, it comes down to every bug for itself. Since London and Rio, the format has changed from five events to three, focusing on testing an athlete's versatility in the hedgerow:

1. Bug Pursuit
2. 200cm Flying Time Trial (see extra (unpaid photographer!))
3. Stamen-Antennae Grab (see extra)

No guessing which one this is!
