Small tortoiseshell

As seen on the garden shed today, the small tortoiseshell butterfly. Basking in the sunshine (which didn’t last all that long).
Went out this afternoon, not on my intended route as the joinery was closed, they must be on holiday.
But had a trip to get dog food, then up to the churchyard and changed the flowers on Mum’s vase. Need to go back "tooled up" to cut round it soon as it’s in a part of the churchyard that doesn’t get any attention, so quickly gets overgrown. In extras.
