Walking the Wildlife

Today is Annie's birthday. We had a very comfortable night in the railway wagon although I woke up about 5am to the sound of the local rooster amongst other waking birds. I popped my head around the door and saw the sun coming up and slicing through the mist.

After a bit of present opening, this morning we had great fun walking a llama (Zeus) and an alpaca, Annie pictured with lovely Dexter who was very entertaining. We then met all the other animals on the farm (chickens, owls, goats, rheas, peacocks and even a skunk).

We had a lovely late breakfast at the farm shop next door sitting out in the sunshine before heading to Southwold. Annie had a sit on the beach whilst I had a quick wander for a photo or two (I can never ignore a pier, see second extra). The weather was fab, ice creams a must.

Too soon it was time to head home. The weather made a turn late afternoon and the drive home turned very wet. We had a stop at Potters Bar to collect the Triumph which has been serviced and checked over. Nothing major for once.

A good day.
