Sunshine after the rain

This morning it rained heavily then the clouds cleared and the sun came out. It was hot and humid in the garden so took a few photos of the well watered plants including this blue hydrangea in my front garden. Not long after, when out for a walk with a friend, the rain started again even heavier than before with the added excitement of thunder and lightning, arrived home safely with very soggy shoes!
