Organ Practice

Listened briefly to the beautiful sound of organ music as I passed the open South Transept then and the West End doors of the Minster (view from the latter); not quite the dogs thing though!

Music
Lingua Ignota's third album arrived on time today. A very unique artist who's music reflects her background as a childhood Catholic (now renounced) Cantor at the age of 8, classically trained singer and as victim of domestic abuse. Her sound combines choral and organ music, classical instruments with folk, dark metal, and industrial/noise and sings with an operatic and emotionally charged voice. She has softened her sound with every album.

Not had a chance to listen yet, but will be pre-ordering her next EP Agnus Dei as soon as they make it available (Vinyl pressing constraint) - the closest yet to religious music. Spotify link below.
