Birthday boy!

Hubby's birthday today and we ignored the atrocious weather forecast and went out anyway. Weather was a lot less rainy than forecast, and by the time we reached our destination it had dried up and the sun came out.
First visit was to the oldest timber house in Ruthin, Nantclwyd y dre and the gardens that surround it. The second visit was to Ruthin Castle Hotel and a booked Afternoon tea. Both visits were outstanding. We've lived in the area for 20 years and have never visited either place. We will definitely be returning to both in the near future. The blip is the birthday boy.
