Paperbark

I am a great fan of the various eucalypt barks, my favourites being paperbark and spotted gum. This attractive paperbark caught my eye as I came off the beach at Malua Bay this morning. Such limb contortions are not typical, and I'm wondering whether close proximity to the sea is the cause.
