Downtown Dunblane

Went for a wander in Dunblane today, purpose in mind: black and white, street photography, and learn how bracketing works on the Nikon.
Obviously, bracketing is not for every occasion, as without fail the 'best' shot was the original, rather than the under/over exposed version. However, shots taken today were in fairly standard conditions, and I have the technical camera knowledge now to know when it might be useful.
I liked this shot, as it flags that Dunblane is a very hilly town: there is nothing but jungle behind these shops for 40-50 yards or so (when you would arrive at the Police Station). The chap on the left was either contemplating a house move, or got distracted on the way to getting some oranges. The young lady is contemplating life, the universe and everything, or wondering how she ended up waitressing here. Nobody is queueing up for printing on a Saturday.
A very pleasant walk, and nice to have the camera in hand with time and intent. My other pics were mainly of trains.
