Echinops retro Veitch's Blue.

There's a big bed of these just coming in to flower on the allotment  opposite mine.  Lots of sunshine and shower moments all day.  Managed to get Ginny walked in a dry moment and then sit in the car to avoid another shower before setting out to take some shots of these flowers.  Didn't want to risk getting soaked so they were very handy being so close.  I have played around a bit with this one and quite like the surrealistic look it has given it.
