You've got to hand it to me

Caught up in the Velodrome this morning watching the Madison, which took about 50 minutes.  Fascinating stuff.

A bit of sitting in the sun whilst watching lots of baby blue tits, great tits, coal tits, nuthatch and woodpecker visiting the seed feeders.  There must be lots of second broods around.  The voles were also busy with their personal supply of sunflower hearts.

A quick trip over the back resulted in this image of a female common darter on my hand.  It even came back and landed for a second time.  Such an honour.  Best viewed large.

This afternoon we've been over to see our son and his partner, and managed to catch up with both grandsons for the first time in ages.

Apologies for being behind with comments.
