Showers

I popped down to Cowdray this evening to check the water levels after all the rain we've had since last night. It turned out to be right up to the top of the bridge arches. In Extras is a picture of Stedham bridge, round the corner from us, where the level is similarly high. Looking at the forecast, there's more raining coming our way...

In other news, Hector rolled in fox poo again this morning and had his second ever bath. He now smells of lavender. On his second walk, this afternoon, he was too busy having fun with Elsie to bother rolling in anything. Rest assured, I will be watching him in an even more hawk-like fashion from now on.
