To run or not to run?

I did ( mad or what?) run parkrun this morning. We usually walk the mile to the start but was such awful wind and rain we drove. R was a volunteer but I sat in the car til the last minute. Was actually dry when running but v windy and lots of big puddles. Was a good turn out... Approx 115 runners and I loved it! Blip : from the car before the run... other runners in view. Extra:view across the beach just before the run. 
This afternoon we walked across the fields to a church fête and then  I tried out new recipes for dinner. Just had a very windy but invigorating walk along the beach.
