And The Lilies Cried, Too

This is a Day Lily taken over the fence of my neighbour's garden.

Her lily in my journal in memory of her. 

She died today awaiting a serious operation with her family around her singing her favourite spiritual songs.

She hasn't been well for a while and has been away with her daughter who was my own daughter's best playmate from 3 years old.
