Ipswich

Carol and I had a walk around Ipswich in the morning, through Alexandra Park, round by the docks and marina then through the town and back to her house via Christchurch Park. We wore our raincoats for wind proofing but were spared any rain.

Last night Gill and Richard joined us for a meal. They were on good form. Richard has been writing sonnets in lockdown, and won a competition in the Spectator - not a publication any of us approves of, but it was the only one he could find that did such things.

Ella and Nathaniel have got snotty colds but did negative tests.

Mr C and I are tired, despite a good night’s sleep. I think having fun in company must be tiring because we are not accustomed to it.
