Slains View … again!

It was bright and sunny this morning so Mrs CBL and I walked up the the headland and had coffees and shortbread whilst sitting on the rocks taking in the views. 

There were several boats out on the horizon and Mrs CBL spotted the Mersey Fisher making its way to Inverness from Immingham.  She was able to tell me this information from an app she has on her phone!  It helps her pass the time as I faff about taking photos. 

Slains Castle is on the adjacent headland and this is the view from close to our picnic spot.

Update: as I post this blip I can tell you that the boat is now passing Banff and should arrive in Inverness at 1:00am.
