Does the amount of rowan berries predict how much snow we will get during the Norwegian winter?

Much berries - little snow?

Few berries - much snow?

It depends where you live in Norway.
Since Norway is a very long country - we have the second longest coast line in the world - the predictions varies. 

In my area the prediction is that  much berries will give much snow. 

But true or false?
