Red Velvet throne

I saw this wee jumper yesterday sitting on his (or her) red velvet throne.  This is Poppy's rose (either an early or late flower).  He jumped off quick smart onto the nearby geranium and refused to look at me.

Today he was back on his throne again in all it's glory.   The flower is only small so this might give you some idea just how small he is.  

Someone asked me whether one had ever jumped on me and I forgot to answer but yes one has and it was not the least bit frightening.   It would be like a piece of confetti landing on you if you want a comparison.
