Day 222/21. A Northern Lynx.

One of the young Northern Lynx at the small local wildlife park today. This is the 3 year old female 'Tora'. Their latin name is the very original lynx lynx lynx.
Northern lynx in the wild prey largely on small to fairly large sized mammals and birds. Among the recorded prey items are European and hares, squirrels, dormice and other rodents, grouse, red foxes, wild boar, moose, roe deer, red deer and others.
