Spoilt

…for choice today. I had a walk down by the river this morning and in the damp conditions, quite a number of fungi were starting to fruit. I also found a spectacular slime mould but didn’t have the right equipment to photograph it. When I got home, there was another visit from my friendly Sparrowhawk, then suddenly the buddleia was covered in butterflies: Comma, Small Tortoiseshell, Red Admiral, Gatekeeper and Peacock. The uncropped Peacock made the cut as I liked the vibrant green and the blue sky.
