Rove Beetle

Seek says it's a brown rove beetle. The internet says it's a gold-and-brown rove beetle. Whichever - it's a rove beetle! And also kind of creepy looking. It darted into the house when The Husband opened the back door. I got it out again - using the glass and piece of cardboard technique - and took its photo once it was back outside.
