The Snow Farm

Our first day in the mountains this year but only snow shoeing. We ventured on some ungroomed trails which had some surprises.  Pockets of thick, soft snow, tussocks poking through, some bare soil and some totally disguised deep holes to fall into!  A lot more snow is needed for off piste snow shoeing!  Two extras: the first looking down the Cardrona Valley on the way down the mountain and the second an overall view of the Snow Farm.
