Barbrook Reservoir on the Eastern Moors, now drained and a nature reserve, but the stonework on the dam is lovely. Extras are of the trig point on Totley Moor and the steps down to a well.

Today's walk was one of the most interesting I've ever enjoyed, with several stone crosses, a stone circle, a well, two disused reservoirs and culminating in an optional swim in Little Barbrook Res. I didn't swim, I didn't fancy walking the last couple of miles with wet hair, as even with a cap on my hair is soaking.
