Swift Nest Boxes were not used

Back in early April I blipped a couple of photos showing the new nest boxes in our village tower This was kitted out with a recording of the noise that swifts make which was broadcast in the early mornings and evenings until a couple of weeks ago Today I inspected: disappointingly there was no evidence that they had been attracted in despite the fine feather bedding that Bruce had provided! Swifts had been flying about so maybe they'll tell this year's offspring about this fine swift hotel and get them to use it next year.
