Zooming

Backblip. Gave an online zoom talk tonight for Glasgow University's archaeology festival. Despite so much zoom time over the last year or so, giving a talk online is still a slightly odd experience. However, it seemed to go okay and there were a few interesting questions afterward, which suggests at least some of the audience was listening!

Unfortunately, the other speaker's talk didn't go quite so well. He was also the event organise and had major internet problems, including having his internet drop out mid-talk. It was a real shame. He did, thankfully, manage to get to the end of his talk but had to finish without his slides. The technology is great, but it is so frustrating when it doesn't work properly.
