Nearing the end of my staycation, and MrsE and I did something we've not done before, and played tourist in Newcastle. This is the view from the Castle Keep of the New Castle, which lead to renaming of the city from the less catchy Roman name of Pons Aelius, after being known as Monkchester for some time.
