If you can't beat them...

Hologram.

We needed to head home however as Wednesday is Arcane Spark's day off we didn't set off home until late afternoon.

R took us to Matlock Bath a place we have never visited before.  An interesting place sort of from the sublime to the "cor blimey.".  At one side of the road you were looking at a peaceful tranquil river and woodland walks.   Turn round and it was like a seaside resort; crowed souvenir shops and an endless supply of Fish and Chip shops.   Often side by side.

We visited the aquarium.  Actually a bit of a misnomer as the building included a petrifying well, a display of minerals and fossils, a large hologram gallery as well as a lot of interesting aquariums.  The holograms were staggering.   The blip doesn't do them justice, they really leap out of the frame at you and even changed expressions etc as you moved past them.

With so many Fish and Chip  lunch just had to be in one of them.  R had Charles recommended so that is where we headed.  We found a table for four and before we had looked round for an extra chair one was brought to us.  The small "children's" helpings were almost as large as a normal adult serving.  Needless to say the adult helping was very large.

Sadly we had to drag ourselves away and return to ArcaneSpark's gather our belongings and head north.   Fortunately the run was trouble free.
