Book blip

Not very inspired today so had a browse thru the book shelf .
Over the years we picked up quite a few old children’s reading books in charity shops for a few quid . Of course the stories and language are very dated but the illustrations are ….well magical !
This one is from a book called ‘The Tales The Letters Tell Book 2 ‘ illustrated by Margaret Tarrant from 1933.
It’s from ‘ The Story of Princess Finola ‘……a story from long ago in Ireland .
