Observations on the beach

We are now at Fårö - the northern part of Gotland.  There is a fantastic beach called Sudersand and I think it’s more than 4 kms.  We just walked 1 km and made these two observations.  The low sun creates an interesting shadow of the feather.  The extra blip of the pole and the woman is a bit creepy.  I saw the woman and hoped she would stay in that position until I got my camera ready.  But someone (?!) had messed with the settings, so it took me 30 seconds to get the camera operable.  And she hadn’t moved!  So, I got a few shots.  And she still didn’t move. I got the feeling it was some kind of statue dressed in real clothes.  I will check tomorrow …
