Thirty-four

The latest summer book (compelling and an interesting narrative voice with a few twists, though I worked out the main one) was completed out in the garden this morning but that was possible because of reading in the early hours when Bailey was poorly. He was sick again some time around four and then quite unsettled for a while. He did eventually go to sleep and neither of us were keen on getting up too early. I’ve denied him food until his tea and he has kept his chicken and rice down so hopefully it has passed.

The weather was a bit brighter too today so there was more washing and ironing, a couple of walks and a few little jobs. A steady Sunday.
